Little Snow

Since it's been so long since this snow, I'm not exactly sure when this was...either late November or early December. Not that it matters anyway. ;-)
It was only a couple inches of snow, but it was the BEST for packing snowballs and making a snowman!

Besides her Daddy, there is nothing that Abby loves more than the snow! She even attacked the snowman!

Time to do some catchin' up!!!

So, it's been almost 6 months since I put a post on here, so I've got a lot of catchin' up to do. Here goes..........These pictures/videos are from decorating the Christmas tree. Pretty self explanatory. :-)

Jake has done so well in school and loves to write notes and draw pictures for everyone. I had to take a picture of this one to keep forever!

Grandma (with the ferrets) watched the kids one morning for us and we came home to some wonderful gifts!

It's been well over a month since we decorated the Christmas tree, so as I watch the video of the kids dancing to Alvin and the Chipmunks Christmas song, all I can wonder is, "What did I feed them for dinner???????"

Here's what it's like...

Jake's First Day of School!!!

OK! So the drama of getting off to the first day of school is done!!!
What a relief!
Jake did WONDERFULLY! I could tell he was a little nervous, but he was very brave and we're so proud of him!
It might be hard to hear in the video, but he asked the bus driver if she had my phone number so that she could call me if he had any questions. :) SO SWEET!!!
So, right now he's sitting in class and in hour he'll be eating his lunch!!! OH, to be a fly on the wall in his classroom!
These pictures are all out of order, so sorry for any confusion. I just wanted to get them on here so everyone could enjoy the videos.
To celebrate Jake's first day of school, he requested lasagna for dinner and a chocolate cake with raspberry frosting for dessert. Rudy and I have our work cut our for ourselves today!!!
So far, the house is unusually quiet. Rudy is watching cartoons and there's no fighting! I'm sad that Jake isn't with us right now, but I think I can get used to this!
Here comes the bus!!!

Waiting at the bus stop!

Please excuse my acting like a spaz and telling Jeremy to "TAKE MORE PICTURES!!" and also excuse my blubbering at the end of the video...I can't help it! My baby is going off to school all by himself! I thought I was excited for this day and that I could be strong, but as it turns out, I am WEAK! ;-)

I am not even about to try to catch up on the last several months of pictures that I haven't posted...

JP loved playing fussball...Every time won, he would run around the house yelling "Pascarella Stadium!!!"

Cassie taught me how to play "trash" then KICKED MY BUTT at it!!!

Some of us ladies watched "Message in a Bottle" and Grandad heard us sobbing so he came over and handed out tissues! ... so sensitive :)

This is the entrance to the kids' favorite beach store. Every time we drive past it, they yell and get so excited!

I had just caught Jeremy trying to make (yet another) stupid face at the camera.

Jordan and Rudy. The kids played almost non-stop all week long!

Jake played the frog game at Barefoot Landing and won the biggest prize for getting 5 frogs in the lilypad!!!!

Carrie read to the kids before bed.......so sweet!!! They love their Aunt Carrie!!!

Me at Barefoot Landing

The kids have so much fun on these trampoline things!

AQUA NERD!!!!! Carrie taught him that! :)

Crab Night!!!

I love this picture of Rudy asleep on the couch next to Grandad.

The kids LOVED playing putt-putt. Jacob, of course, took it very seriously...and Rudy just enjoyed dancing!

JP and Grandma playing Monopoly.

but, we did just get back from Myrtle Beach so I wanted to upload a couple of cute videos. We had a fantastic time! As the kids get older, going to the beach becomes a little less work and a little more fun. We came home with plenty of stories...some good - like Jake learning how to swim...some not-so-good - like Rudy getting stuck in the elevator on the first night (Ugh!!!....it was terrible!).

Unfortunately my camera's battery went dead in the middle of the week and I forgot to pack the charger, so I'm hoping that someone else in the family is willing to share their beach pictures with me. :)

There just aren't enough hours in the day!!!

Anyone know what movie that line is from????
My guess is.............NO!!!!

I just finished up helping Jeremy out with typing an appraisal (if I want an RV I guess I'm gonna have to work for it!) so I thought I'd get on here and share a favorite youtube video. Actually I'm pretending to be typing an appraisal, but I'm actually just farting around on the internet...don't tell Jeremy though! :) haha!!! I've come a long way since I started learning ASL. Now I can actually understand what they're signing, which is pretty exciting! :)

Hopefully, when I'm able to squeeze in some time I will get some pictures up from Jake's 5th birthday. I'm expecting that I'll be able to do that sometime around his 6th b-day.

We're SUPER busy these days. Between baby showers and bridal showers and lots of other summertime activities, work, and getting ready for school(for me AND Jacob!) again in the fall it seems like the days go by so fast and there isn't a minute to spare. Life is good, though, and I've got nothing to complain about. :-)

If you've been thinking about that line...it's from...........................................
(surprise, surprise)................Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory!!!! Duh!!!!

Shoot! I can't figure out how to put the video on here. So if you're interested, here's the link...
